Design and Functionality

When you create your basic profile and become a free member, it is time to really get inside and see what the website has to offer. This is the part of our Date HIV review where we talk about the design and functionality before we get to the features.

We have to say that we almost felt let down by the design when we first started reviewing the website. It cannot be negated that the website is pleasant to the eye with its white and very light gray-bluish tones, but it does feel a bit boring and almost clinical, which is never a good thing. After some time, we realized that this allows you to spend as much time on Date HIV as you wish without getting overwhelmed or struggling with dry eyes.

The functionality of the site is top notch and we have yet to encounter a single issue. Mind you, we have spent quite a bit of time on the website. Even the more advanced features such as video chat or uploading profile vids have worked without a single hitch.

Features

Date HIV is not exactly packed with innumerable features but it delivers every standard feature you might expect to find on a dating website. If you ask us, this is a better option. There is really no need for every dating website to feature a ton of useless features that only a fraction of members uses.

Date HIV lets you create your profile and upload videos if you wish and it allows you to browse the profiles belonging to other people. You can send flirts or direct messages to the members that seem like fun and you can use the chat feature to talk to them.

Chat is actually a great place to spend your time as you get to meet members you might otherwise miss. It was definitely one of the high points of our Date HIV review process.

Date HIV is a very specific dating website and as such, it simply cannot boast hundreds of thousands of members. It is also still relatively new and this plays a role when determining how many members a dating website has.

That being said, Date HIV already features plenty of HIV+ members and people who have no problem with this. The members we interacted with while doing our Date HIV review were all fun-loving and extremely pleasant and we have no reason to think that the rest of the membership base is any different.
